Indiana Main Street Comprehensive Planning Grant

We are partnering with students from Taylor University, who are in a grant writing class. We are looking to create a plan which will govern housing, transportation, land use, economic development and other elements for the town of Upland.

Placemat Advertising

We are planning to advertise on paper placemats at Ivanhoes, which will include all of the Upland Chamber members.

"Drive By Me" Calendar

We will be making a calendar that has pictures of interesting yards, building improvements, and other sights around town.

Tour of Upland Brochure

We are developing a brochure for a driving/walking tour of buildings and residences around Upland. It will provide an early historical picture and the present picture of the town.

Architectural Agreement

We are working with the Upland Town Board which just set up a "Task Force" that will help establish an architectural agreement for any new businesses or remodeling in downtown Upland. The desire is for these buildings to blend well with such structures as the historic depot and the newer town hall and fire department.
